1. Thriving Beyond Stage IV Cancer | My Journey of Holistic Healing

It’s taken me a while to build up the courage to share my story but in the words of Brene Brown, “vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity, and change”. By sharing our stories of pain, struggle and healing, we generate hope and an understanding that, underneath it all, we are the same. I believe this is how we can start to heal the world - one ripple at a time.

In this episode I share:

  • Why I felt called to start The Holistic Healing Project podcast
  • The difference between Healing and Curing
  • My story of being diagnosed with cancer at 28 years old
  • My belief that suppressed emotions, chronic stress and lack of coping skills contributed to my diagnosis
  • The mind-body connection
  • Hitting rock bottom when I progressed to Stage IV and was given a prognosis of approximately one year
  • Some of my holistic healing tools; including nutrition, exercise, yoga, breathwork and meditation
  • Surrender and spirituality
  • The impact of unresolved emotional distress on physical health
  • How Love and Service are all that matters in the end

I really hope you enjoy the episode. If you do, please subscribe and leave a review.
